WOW Festival – An Arts, Creative & Expressive Industries & Humanities happening! 01/12/2022

1st December WOW (World of Work) event for Culture, Humanities, Arts, Expressive and Creative Careers at UPDC 1pm till 9pm…all welcome! A mainstage with a packed program of performers (see flyer) plus 5 keynote speakers and around 20 exhibitors…: Lee Strickland (Photographer), Poet Dr Rachael Boast F.R.S.L., GB Films, Greyhound Creative, Benton End, Suffolk Museums, Suffolk Libraries & Suffolk arts (Suffolk County Council), LCEP, Wincanton, Creative Nation, Suffolk Archives, Noise of Art, Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music, Gainsborough’s House (TBC), Dance East (TBC), Careers (Internal), Sustainability Centre (Internal), Apprenticeships (Internal), Work Placements (Internal), EDI (Internal), UCAS… and awaiting final confirmation; Sainsbury’s Centre, Fitzwilliam Museum, BBC Look East, Kettles Yard.

The WOW events are sector focused opportunities for staff, students and businesses to network, explore collaborative opportunities, work placements and progression to US and the world of work. Supported by European Social Fund money through Curriculum Initiatives/PLACE21 Higher Place they are also a great opportunity to attain Gatsby benchmarks, professionalise our student offering and inspire our students beyond the classroom.
