About this event
Heather Avenue Infant School, part of The Wensum Trust, has been selected by the Department for Education (DfE) to run one of 34 nationwide English Hubs.
Our English Hub showcase events are practical, half day workshops which share best practice in relation to the teaching of early language and phonics.
Headteachers, Senior Leadership members and Reading/Phonics Leaders across Norfolk and Suffolk are invited to observe phonics lessons, find out how we have developed a reading for pleasure culture and achieved phonics scores of 90% and above.
The event will also include more information about applying for English Hub funding up to £6,000 and gaining access to free bespoke support to develop early language and reading in your school.
